Meryl Character for Unreal Tournament

Either Oscar or this model is the first I released for UT2K3 I really cant remember. Its closely based on the outfit and design of my Yoshi Shinkawa tribute artwork that you can see further down. The belly button cutout dress is based on a dress I would constantly see in a music video on MTV that must have been really popular at the time I neither remember the name of the song nor the singer and to be honest I didn't care for either but the dress I thought was amazing. I was also playing with the idea of blending this dress with a french maid out fit a bit ... you know ... can't have enough french maids in video games! But the influences of that idea are rather marginal in the final model. At that point 3D models where usually simple enough that you could turn one model into something completely different by just applying a different texture so I asked Hennig "Sa74n" Horstman if he wanted to provide an extra custom skin and he did. Even though it looks very similar to mine it features a red dress completely painted from scratch I think its still included in the zip file I offer for download. This model was very popular in the community and a lot of additional custom skins got made.
