Alliance - "The Silent War" is a game I was working on for 18 month in the United States and another 6 month from home in Germany. It was supposed to be a groundbreaking PC first person shooter with an epic story line ranging over 100 years. Unfortunately after the expiration of my United States work visa development slowed down dramatically and shortly after Windward-Mark-Interactive got acquired by Linden-Labs and the project was put on hold. This was a real bummer since a lot of the innovative gameplay and graphics features that were planned for this game have now been seen in games like Crysis and Call of Duty 4 to great critical acclaim and commercial success ... well we got beaten to the punch. I build over 100 realistic weapon models for this game. These screenshots however were all taken by Scott Duquette my only co-artist on the game for an E3 presentation hence a lot of the areas and assets shown are mainly focusing on stuff he build but there is something I made in every shot and even the stuff he build would have never turned out this good without me teaching him ;) The individual prop shots are all from a vertical slice level I got special permission for to take screenshots of ... and yes those are 100% me.
