C&C Generals Evolution Gla Buildings

I Have been a long time fan of the "command and conquer" franchise, "generals" and more specifically "zero-hour" got its hooks into me more than any other RTS game ever.
With EA shutting down all the old CnC-games multiplayer-servers and canceling generals 2 I felt left out in the cold. When I saw a video of cnc generals evolution on youtube by complete accident I was blown away by the fx and the FEEL of the whole thing. Than I read that its a total conversion mod for Red-Alert3, which I thought was still running, because it was at that point in time the newest CnC game.
The Creator of the mod "Gunship MK2" had a job listing on his page looking for someone to do the UI for his mod ... I thought to myself: "well UI aint really my thing, but if thats the only thing thats preventing this mod from shipping sign me up!". I Dropped him a mail and turns out the UI is already DONE, but he would need some new Building models because he didnt want to use the old "Zero-Hour" ones. Now that task is way more up my ally.
It took me a couple of month of spare-time to finish these an hour here a couple of minutes there. Unfortunately there was a miss communication about the Red-Alert3 tech I thought that I could use vertex colors for ambient occlusion but it turns out the game engine uses vertex colors for masking other technical elements and multiple color sets are not supported ... or we couldnt write our own shaders that samples the color from another set, so the buildings look a bit flat ingame.
The mod is not quite ready for release some destruction and animation is still missing but we are close. All the buildings use 1 material for maximum drawcall overhead effciency and have no transparency because fuck that shit!
